One machine – seven packaging formats. A new filling and capping machine solution from COMAS s.r.l. (Italy)
COMAS s.r.l. has designed the special version of the filling and capping machine for liquid medicines well-known among the customers. The machine is intended for 7 different working formats for glass and plastic vials from 5 to 50 ml. The vials are capping with the several types of caps, in particular: screwing caps, screwing caps with dropper, pre-assembled caps for nasal sprays, caps for nasal sprays with cover cap, pressure caps with sprayers and sprayer with aluminum crimping.
In spite of ability to use several formats, the machine has compact dimensions and allows working with filling rate up to 110 vials per minute.
The machine is equipped with 4/6 volumetric dosing units and two nozzles for nitrogen purging before filling. Three capping stations are installed inside the monoblock and what station activates depends on cap type.
One of the additional advantage of the machine is a quick format change. This operation can be executed just in 1 hour.
