Dienst also offers customized non-standard solutions. Such a request was received from a manufacturer who needed not to pack but unpack blocks of butter. The customer received bulk deliveries of the foodstuff and divided them into smaller, easier-to-manage portions. And for exactly this purpose, Dienst has designed and built a butter decartoner to automatically open and unpack boxes with blocks of butter.
It took only 7 months to manufacture the line. The final result was a high-quality robust unpacking machine complying with modern safety standards. Up to 10 boxes per minute can be unpacked. The ejected empty boxes are conveyed from the outfeed belt directly to the shredder which allows doing further waste processing in an eco-friendly manner.
