Recently, FPS, a manufacturer of containment systems and fine milling equipment, introduced a new development - the first isolator with integrated voice commands.

The operator must not only efficiently handle highly toxic pharmaceutical ingredients, but also follow commands to operate doors and open process valves.

To shorten production times and simplify work, FPS was looking for one that would allow the operator to perform actions without even taking their hands out of their gloves. Thus, the collaboration with Siemens has led to the integration of the voice command technology into the containment system.

The aim of the project was to create equipment that will facilitate the operator's work, reduce production time and productivity while maintaining safety standards.
