Recently, Silverson has introduced its new development, the FMX5 laboratory mixer for mixing powdered products with liquids. This mixer enables easy and efficient mixing of even highly viscous products.

This mixer is suitable for small batch production and R&D. Batch volume is up to 10 liters, depending on the viscosity of the product. This mixer offers an accurate means of predicting the performance of the production scale, making the scale-up process a simple task.

The FMX5 mixer has proven to be highly efficient with a wide range of powdered products (Guar, Gum Arabic, Pectin, Xanthan gum), Carbopol, Bentonite and many more. The introduction of this equipment to the Silverson range opens up the possibility of many more laboratory scale applications than was previously available. The FMX5 is also available in a hygienic version with single or double sealing arrangements.
