ATEX certified process equipment can be used in potentially explosive environments. Recently, Three-Tec has supplied an ATEX system for the Institute of Chemical Technology named after Fraunhofer in Germany.

In order to achieve the best extrusion results, taking into account all customer requirements, a ZE 12 HMI co-rotating twin screw extruder with a screw diameter of 12 millimeters was developed and produced as a special design. The housing is equipped with a liquid temperature control system, housing and product temperature and pressure sensors.
