A company, a manufacturer of firefighting foam has recently purchased a second FMX50 Flashmix mixer by Silverson to replicate the successful production process at their second plant.

The products that the company produces are mainly intended for the oil and petrochemical industry, and the product that they produce with the help of Flashmix is a foamed product that contains xanthan gum.

Earlier, they had problems with a traditional mixer when dispersing xanthan gum which  prevented them from experimenting with the product formula and testing its various variants. With a traditional mixer, they could not get a homogeneous product, and the long mixing time was another problem that forced them to look for ways to solve these issues.

After contacting Silverson, laboratory-scale tests on the L5M-A mixer were organized. The results of these tests were very good, and the company placed an order for the first FMX50 mixer. And after a while, they ordered one more FMX50 for their second plant to continue improving the mixing process and expanding their product range.
