  • PAT Technologies and Pharma Technology Equipment: A New Level of Quality Control in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

In pharmaceutical manufacturing, the appearance of a tablet never guarantees its true quality. Two tablets may look identical, but critical differences can be hidden within the production process. To reduce the risk of batch failure, manufacturers need deeper, real-time control.

This is where PAT — Process Analytical Technology comes in. These are technologies that allow analytical monitoring directly during the production process, not only afterwards. PAT provides manufacturers with:

  • better process understanding through QbD — Quality by Design (a systematic approach to building quality into a product from the very beginning);
  • stronger control and quick identification of root causes of deviations;
  • greater process stability and reduced risk of batch failure (a rejected or unusable production batch).

Pharmaceutical products have key characteristics that determine their safety and efficacy. These are called CQAs — Critical Quality Attributes (quality parameters that must be controlled to ensure the product works as intended).

Typically, monitoring different CQAs requires several instruments.

The innovative CUB-X platform by Pharma Technology changes this approach. It is the first solution capable of measuring multiple CQAs simultaneously and in real time, providing full quality control at every stage of production.

With advanced equipment and technologies by Pharma Technology, manufacturers gain access to a new generation of process control solutions that ensure stable, safe, and high-quality production of solid dosage forms.
